RETURN & REFUND POLICY
US-Only: This policy applies to orders shipped to addresses within the United States.
30-DAY EASY RETURNS
At Pawfect Cause, we want you to love your purchase. If you’re not satisfied, we make returns simple.
RETURN WINDOW & ELIGIBILITY
- Return window: You have 30 days from the day you receive your order to request a return.
- Condition: Items must be unused, unworn, and in their original condition and packaging, including all tags, accessories, manuals, and documents.
- Proof of purchase: A valid order number or receipt is required.
- Where we accept returns: Returns are accepted from US addresses only.
WHAT’S COVERED & WHAT’S NOT
- Covered: New, unused items meeting the criteria above; items that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect.
- Not covered (Non-returnable): Items marked “Final Sale” on the product page; personalized/custom items; hygiene-sensitive products (e.g., opened grooming items, used pet bowls/beds/blankets); gift cards; downloadable or perishable goods.
- Bundles/sets: Must be returned in full with all components unless otherwise approved by Customer Service.
RETURN COSTS
- Defective, damaged, or incorrect items: No cost to you. Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos; upon approval we’ll send instructions and a prepaid return label or replacement options.
- Change of mind / wrong size or color: You are responsible for return shipping. Original shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable.
HOW TO START A RETURN
- Contact us: Email support@pawfect-cause.com with your order number and reason for return (and photos if damaged/defective).
- Get authorization: If approved, you’ll receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and instructions (and a prepaid label if applicable).
- Pack your item: Repack securely in the original packaging with all tags/accessories. Include your RMA in the box.
- Ship promptly: Send the item within 14 days of receiving your RMA. Use a trackable service and keep your receipt. Items remain your responsibility until delivered to our return facility.
EXCHANGES
Want a different size, color, or product? We’re happy to help. In most cases, the fastest method is to place a new order for the desired item and return the original for a refund once received and approved. If a prepaid label applies (defect/incorrect item), we’ll provide it with your RMA.
REFUND PROCESS & TIMING
- Inspection: Once your return is delivered, we’ll inspect it within 3–5 business days.
- Refund: After approval, we’ll issue a refund to your original payment method. Banks/payment providers typically post refunds within up to 7 business days.
- What’s refunded: The item price (and applicable sales tax). Original shipping is non-refundable except where we made an error or the item was defective/damaged.
DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT ITEMS
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days at support@pawfect-cause.com with photos and your order number. We’ll make it right with a replacement, store credit, or refund and provide a prepaid return label if a return is required.
UNDELIVERABLE, REFUSED, OR WRONG ADDRESS
- If a package is returned to us as undeliverable (e.g., wrong/insufficient address, refusal, or failure to pick up), we can reship (additional shipping may apply) or refund the item price once received and inspected, less any carrier return fees where applicable. Original shipping is non-refundable unless we made an error.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- Do you offer free return labels? We provide prepaid labels for defective/damaged/incorrect items. For change-of-mind returns, customers cover return shipping.
- Can I return used items? We can only accept items that are new and unused with all original tags and packaging, unless the item arrived defective.
- How do I track my return? Use the tracking number from the carrier you ship with. Keep your drop-off receipt until your refund is issued.
